The ‘Infinity Challenge’ specials that could have been…
It turns out there may have been some special episodes of ‘Infinity Challenge‘ that were planned, but never got to air.
Netizens recently posted some photos on an online community board with the title, ‘The ‘Infinity Challenge’ Special’s that didn’t Happen‘, and shared the names of various guests that ‘Infinity Challenge’ tried to invite on their show.
Taking a look at the photos, there are a number of stars from all around the world, from movie stars to musicians to sports players. The photos tell us that in 2008, actorKeanu Reevescame to Korea to promote his movie ‘Street Kings‘ and in 2009,Tom CruiseandLady Gagawere in Korea and plans were made to have them appear on the program, but it never actually happened. Also on that list of celebrities were NBA starKobe Bryant, Korean soccer phenomPark Ji Sung, former Korean American NFL wide receiverHines Ward, and track and field Russian athleteIsinbayeva.
In addition to the big-name celebrity appearances, there were also plans for other specials events such as putting together a choir, creating a musical with the songs of veteran singerJo Young Pil, and taking the Korean college entrance exams.
No one knows for sure if these plans were actually made, and why they fell through, but netizens who saw the photos commented, “What a disappointment, we could have seen Tom Cruise“, “There were a lot of big plans in the works“, and “If all of these plans came to fruition it would have been amazing.”
