Tablo explains the lyrics behind Lee Hi’s “Special”

Tablorevealed what was behind the lyrics for a song fromLee Hi‘sfirst album‘First Love‘.

The rapper, who wrote the lyrics for “Turn It Up” and “Special“,tweetedwhat he wanted to express with his lyrics in “Special”, saying, “I think even the [scariest relationships have beauty inside of them]. “Special” is about longing for a past love despite being in pain. In the chorus, Lee sings, “You are so special to me,” expressing just what Tablo meant.

So far, Lee Hi has released 5 of her songs from ‘First Love’, and on the 21st, she’ll be releasing the rest of them along with her second title track “Rose“.
