TVXQhas set another record in Japan!

Their album ‘TIME‘ had rankedhttps://www.askkpop.com/singer/profile/Kim_Seung_Woo/1 on theOricon Daily Chart, and now it took the top spot on theOricon Weekly Chart.

This is their third album to top the weekly chart, and this album sold 244,000 copies in the first week, setting a new record for the boys for the first-week sales. It’s also the 2nd consecutive time that their album sold over 200,000 copies in the first week, since they sold over 200,000 with ‘TONE‘ as well.

Oriconannounced, “It’s the first time sinceAvril Lavigne‘s ‘Every Damn Thing‘ that a foreign artist sold more than 200,000 copies for two consecutive albums in the first week, this last occurred 5 years and 11 months ago. For a foreign group, the only other time this occurred was 12 years and 10 months ago whenBon Joviachieved it with ‘Crush‘.
