Style Breakdown: Gavy NJ’s “Lady Killer”
Gavy NJis back with their brand-new music video for “Lady Killer“! In the video, the girls see a good-looking guy walk by, and they each imagine what it’d be like to be his girlfriend.
The little black dress is a classic staple for any woman’s wardrobe.SihyunandGunjiwore dresses with pearl collars in lieu of necklaces, whileJennywore a thick, braided necklace with her strapless dress. The girls went for simple, clean makeup and classic hairstyles.
For some of her solo shots, Gunji wore beige, sleeveless dress styled after a trench coat. Gunji goes through the most hair changes in this video – here, we see her with a loose braid to one side. I love the tiny, silver key on her necklace.
For her solo shots, Jenny wore fitted, white pants with a black, printed pattern, and a sleeveless, pink blouse with a flowered collar, accessorizing with big, bedazzled, star-shaped earrings. She shows how versatile her simple, high bun is by wearing it with both casual and formal outfits.
For her solo shots, Sihyun wore lots of candy-colored jewelry against the backdrop of a simple, green sweater. To contrast, she painted her nails a glossy black.
We can’t forget our male protagonist! In the diner, he wore a black t-shirt and white pants with a light blue, collarless blazer. In the scene he proposes, he dressed a little fancier with a grey vest and dress pants and a red bowtie over a white button-down.
On Sihyun’s dream date, she celebrates her birthday with her boyfriend while wearing black-and-white striped skinny pants, and a sheer, black-and-white patched jacket over a black tank top. She wore a couple of big, colorful rings, and a giant, red-and-white striped bow in her hair.
In the diner, the girls were all dressed casually. Gunji wore a black-and-white patterned peasant blouse. Jenny wore a red-and-white striped shirt with a lace bib inset. Sihyun wore a denim shirt with black sleeves featuring shoulder cutouts.
In Gunji’s solo shots, she wore a loose-fitting t-shirt with slices cut into it and a black, tulle skirt. She changed her hair again, this time into pigtails, and added a red bow. Her boyfriend wore a black button-down and black pants, and made the unusual choice to pair this with a brown belt.
The girls looked fresh and cute, wearing clothes that almost anyone could wear in real life. My favorite look is Gunji’s beige dress, which is cute and different without being way out there, while my favorite hair is Jenny’s bun. What’s your favorite look? Let us know in the comments!
