[ASKKPOP] SM C&C to launch musical 'Singin' in the Rain' starring Kyuhyun and Onew in talks

SM Entertainment's subsidiary companySM C&Cwill produce the well-known musical 'Singin' in the Rain' this summer.



'Singin' in the Rain' will open its curtains on June 5 and run through August 3 at Chungmu Art Hall, Seoul.An SM Entertainment rep stated, "Super Junior'sKyuhyunhas been cast as the lead actor andSHINee'sOnewis in talks to star in it as well."


It has also been reported that the agency is preparing an original four-part musical series to play at COEX Artium in Gangnam, Seoul. The rep stated,"We signed a contract to use this theater until 2018, and the venue has already been secured... We will apply our experience in concert planning and more to show a new kind of musical."


SM Entertainment has been venturing out into various fields of entertainment with their recentinvestment in indie label BALJUNSOand more, showing their unending determination to spread K-pop.
