RaNia considered changing the title for “Style”

RaNia‘s comeback track “Style” could have been released under a different title.

The song earned much attention before it came out as a co-production betweenYG EntertainmentproducersTabloandChoi Pil Kang. They considered changing the title to “Runway” in case it overlapped withPsy‘s “Gangnam Style“.

A representative ofDR Musicadded,“We did think about changing it to ‘Runway’ but we felt that ‘Style’ fit better with the song in the end.”

In related news, RaNia has been doing exceptionally well overseas. Interest in the group advancing into the international market began ever since they debuted under the direction ofTeddy Riley, and popular composing teamTrack Starsmentioning them on Twitter only fueled the sentiment.

As their advancement into the U.S. has been confirmed, RaNiawill be leaving for Americain early November.
