Mina is known as “Asian Madonna”

A new Korean star is getting the attention from Hollywood.

Her name is Mina and unlike most Korean musicians who come
to the States through their agency, Mina grew up in Los Angeles and has been
working as a sing-a-song writer.

Since the debut of “Far East Movement” who gained popularity
through their electro-pop “G6,” Hollywood is looking out for Asian musicians.

Mina is an Indi-pop artist who has mastered song writing,
vocal, guitar, and producing at Musicians Institute (MI) located in Hollywood.
Her first album will be released in May, and a lot of people are anticipating
her album.

Her new album will be distributed through major online music
stores in the US, such as the iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and Google Play.

Her mentor, Allan Rich, who is also known for writing many
hit songs like “Run yo You” (sang by Whitney Houston), calls Mina “Asian
Madonna” and “Asian Lady Gaga.”

Mina also performs live on stages of famous Hollywood clubs,
including Key Club, Viper Room, Whiskey A Gogo, The Roxy, and the Mint.

Mina said that she was asked to produce an album in Korea. She
added, “I would love to release an album in Korea when I get a chance.”
