MBLAQ’s Mir reveals he competed against Kim Soo Hyun for lead role in a drama

MBLAQ‘sMirrevealed that he and actorKim Soo Hyuncompeted for a lead role in a drama.

During filming for the upcoming episode of ‘Idol Manager‘, the members of MBLAQ received acting lessons in order to become the “ultimate idol”.

Each member received the chance to reveal a dramatic incident in their lives, and Mir shared how he first became a trainee. He revealed he first became interested in the entertainment world because of his older sisterGo Eun Ah.

He stated, “I auditioned for the drama ’Jungle Fish 1‘ and was eliminated in the final round of auditions.”

WhenPark Kyung Limasked who ended up with the role, Mir revealed it was actor Kim Soo Hyun. The members then began to tease Mir, saying he could have been the star of ‘Moon that Embraces the Sun‘ and ‘The Thieves‘.

This episode of ‘Idol Manager’ will air on the 2nd at 6PM KST onMBC Every1.
