[ASKKPOP] Liam Neeson cast in new Korean movie and to enter the country for filming
Hollywood actorLiam Neesonmight be kicking ass next in a Korean blockbuster! He has been cast in the production 'Incheon Landing Operation,' which will be a war movie, so he's likely to be as charismatic as ever and you'll get quite "taken" with him once again. He was previously reported to havereceived a casting offer along with Hyun Binfor the film, which had previously been called 'MacArthur.' He is confirmed now and Korea is psyched!
For filming purposes, he will be entering the country in November. Movie reps disclosed to a media outlet on August 12,"Liam Neeson, who will be playing Soldier MacArthur in 'Incheon Landing Operation,' will be stepping on Korean soil in November to partake in filming."The question in everyone's mind is: will he be specifically landing in Incheon?
The production company revealed that they had initially planned filming in the United States for Liam Neeson's parts, but the actor had told them,"It's a movie about the Korean War and it's a Korean film, so it is only right that I film in Korea."He had also allegedly stated that since he already decided to appear in the movie, there was no need to look out for his convenience. Basically, enough with the star treatment, eh?
The production company's goal is to premiere the movie on June 25 next year, which would mark the anniversary of the Korean War.
