Lee Byung Hun says he was mistaken for Ken Jeong from ‘The Hangover’

ActorLee Byung Hunshed light on some of the embarrassing situations he’d had to endure while in Hollywood as an actor who was relatively unknown to the American audience.

Lee Byung Hun appeared on histvNspecial ‘The Lee Byung Hun You Do Not Know‘ and shared that he was once mistaken for Korean-American actorKen Jeongwho starred in ‘The Hangover‘ series.

Lee Byung Hun was asked if he gets recognized a lot in Hollywood, but the actor revealed that while it does happen, it’s not all that frequent. “Yeah people recognize me every once in a while,” he said.

The actor goodnaturedlyrevealed an embarrassing situation in which he thought he was being recognized, but turned out he had been mistaken for someone else. “One time I was in a cafe and some students kept pointing at me and whispering.  One of them built up their courage and came and asked me if I was an actor.”

The star said he answered, “I am,” which made the student’s friends to come over as well. However, they then said to Lee Byung Hun, “We really enjoyed you in ‘The Hangover’.”
