FT Island Lee Hong-gi makes the screens with "A Hot Goodbye"

FT IslandLee Hong-giis coming out with a movie.

The lead vocal of one of the hottest bands in the country,FT Island, will be acting in his first movie called "A Hot Goodbye" as a troublemaking idol.

"A Hot Goodbye" is based in a hospice hospital where patients wait for death, and a terminally ill patient and a trouble making idol attempt at their final wish.Lee Hong-gistars as Choong-I, a popular idol who got into a fight and got sentenced to community hours. He goes head to head with Anna (Baek Jin-hee) who is the head of charity work but ends up being the mentor of the patients who want to join a band audition. Hong-gi is about to portray the lovable act of Choong-I the best he can.

Lee Hong-gihas been acting even before he debuted as a singer and starred in"You're Beautiful", "Noriko Goes to Seoul", and more. His role in this movie as an idol would not be a difficult one as he is one himself and he will be dealing with singing, the drums, keyboard, bass and other instruments.

The directorNam Taek-soopraisedLee Hong-gisaying that he has the good qualities of an actor.

Meanwhile, the other casts include,Ma Dong-seok,Baek Jin-hee,Im Won-hee,Jeon Min-seoand others. Human drama "A Hot Goodbye" will be released on the 30th of May.
