[ASKKPOP] A Very K-Pop Halloween: Going Undercover as your Favorite Idol
Halloween is almost here, and that means it's time to figure out what your costume is going to be! Why not dress up as your favorite idol? For many of us, the main reason will be because we've got that one friend who gets super annoyed any time we bring up K-Pop. You know who I'm talking about- the one who yells, "It'd better not be K-Pop!" if you evenlookat your iPod. So you want to dress up as an idol but don't want that person to know? We've got you covered with our undercover K-Pop Halloween costumes!
Tell them you're a mummy, but you're reallymiss Ain "Touch"! This look is very simple- all you need is a light-colored bandage dress, white heels with buckles, and some makeup! If you can't find a bandage dress you like, try looking for an actual mummy costume, and tweak it to your liking- for the one shown, I would ditch the head wrap, choker, and leg warmers, but I might keep the sleeves.

Say you're a lunatic doctor or mad scientist, but you're reallyG Dragonin "Crayon"! The main points of this look are the lab coat, the colorful bowtie, and the flippy sunglasses. If you're crafty, you could buy spiked bracelets and paint the spikes black or light blue to look like the ones GD wears here. If you have a white button-down shirt, black pants, and dress shoes, you're halfway there!

They might think you're a soldier, but you're reallyB.A.Pin "Power"! If you want to go all out, you can distress your jacket and pants using these methods if you're feeling ambitious. You can spatter flecks of metallic paint onto your costume to make it look even more like what B.A.P wears. While wearing your tank top, use chalk to mark where you want any cuts to go, so that you'll know exactly where they'll be on your body- take the shirt off before making any cuts though. If you want your own B.A.P spray can, you can gently rough-up the outside of a spray can with sandpaper, and then paint the whole can silver. Once the silver paint has dried, you can drip red paint down the sides if you want.

You might be a funky ballerina- or you might beOrange Caramelin "Lipstick"! Orange caramel has a lot going on in their outfits, and the thought of trying to put one of these costumes together might be daunting. However, it's not as hard as it looks! The main components are the stiff tutu, colorful, cropped jacekt, graphic tee shirt, patterened tights (sheer white with a black pattern is best), and white work boots- beyond that, all you need are some cute accessories and a funky hairdo!

Tell them you're "Gangnam Style"... because you are! With the current craze,Psy's "Gangnam Style" will be a popular costume choice for K-pop fans and non K-pop fans alike. The three most important parts of your Psy costume are a blazer or tuxedo jacket with contrast trim, a bowtie, and a pair of black or tortoiseshell glasses. All you need after that is a tuxedo shirt, black pants, and either dress shoes or gym shoes. If you can't find the jacket you want, find one that you like in a solid color and use fabric paint to create the trim. If you don't like wearing ties, don't worry! Psy often wears his untied and hanging from his collar- as long as you buy a self-tie bowtie, you can do the same. The other most important thing is that you need learn how to perform the dance!
