Teriya Phounja Magar, a Nepalese dancer hailing from Butwal, Rupandehi, has become a prominent figure in the dance scene, especially in Mumbai, India. Born to Anita and Bijay Phounja Magar, Teriya has been actively involved in dance since her childhood, showcasing her passion and talent. Her journey to stardom began at the age of 11 when she auditioned for the third season of Zee TV's dance reality series, Dance India Dance Li'l Masters. Her exceptional skills and captivating performances led her to emerge as the winner of the competition on June 21, 2014. This marked the start of her rise to fame in both India and Nepal. Teriya continued her success by participating in Colors TV's celebrity dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (season 9), where she once again claimed victory on January 21, 2017. Despite facing challenges and briefly getting eliminated, she made a triumphant comeback, captivating the audience and judges alike.
