Bobby previously mentioned that he hasn't seen his family, who live in the States, in 4 years due to his training in Korea. His motivation for winning the show was also for his family as he shared, "If I win, I will make a way to meet my mom and bring over my mom and dad somehow."He also expressed on the show that he'd want to prepare a home in Korea so that his parents can come live there with him.
