Super Junior’s Leeteuk expresses his feelings about enlisting
Super Junior‘s leaderLeeteuk‘s enlistment date has recently been confirmed to beOctober 30th.
After the date was finalized, Leeteuk tweeted, “Monk Hyemin, ‘Things you can see only if you stop.’ I think these are the words I need the most right now. I ran too far just looking ahead. I need to stop for a bit, look back at myself and look around me. I’m going to work harder to be a bigger person.” Monk Hyemin (Ryan Bongseok Joo) is a famous professor of East Asian religion at Hampshire College.
Additionally, Leeteuk attached a photo of a page from Monk Hyemin’s book, ‘Things You Can See Only if You Stop“. The page reads, “I talked badly about someone. That person didn’t know, but that same person came up to me and told me something very warm. I felt so sorry and guilty then. This is the cool way on how you’re supposed to get revenge, with love.”
A day before, he also tweeted an old photo of himself with the words, “This is when we were promoting ‘The Attack of the Pin-Up Boys‘.. Is it 2008.. That kind of hair was popular.. Can I try that kind of hair again after 2 years ^^ ke“, alluding to the fact that he would have to shave his hair once he enlists.
Fans who read his tweets replied, “We will wait for you“, “He must have a lot on his mind before enlistment“, and “I always feel like I have a lot to learn from you. Hwaiting!”
