Peppertones says “Vocal Skills? We value the ambience more”

Peppertones made a comeback with their new album.

Peppertones is a group made of two members – Shin Jae Pyung
with the guitar and Lee Jang Won with the Bass. The group and their music promote “new
therapy for depression.”

They have always had the bright and positive feel to their
music, featuring female vocalists. However, their new official fourth album called,
“Beginner’s Luck,” only has one song that is featuring a female vocalist and
the rest of the songs in the album were all sung by the members.

Their new album seems very plain, yet the album feels solid
and full. What has made them change so much?

In their interview, when they were asked about the new
changes to their new album, they said, “In the past, we wanted to make happy
and light songs with female vocalists. However, we have already done that with
three of our albums. We felt like it was about the time we give some changes to
our album. It’s not anything fancy, but we wanted to make our album solid with
just plain music.
