Moon Chae Won And gugudan’s Mina Talk About Acting As Mother And Daughter For “Mama Fairy And The Woodcutter”

Moon Chae Won and gugudan’s Mina talked about working together while playing mother and daughter for “Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter.”

On October 30, upcoming tvN drama “Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter” held a press conference, with actors Moon Chae Won, Yoon Hyun Min, Seo Ji Hoon, and Mina, as well as director Kim Yoon Chul in attendance.

On her role as Moon Chae Won’s daughter, Mina talked about how it was difficult at first because Moon Chae Won was a veteran actress compared to her. Mina shared, “But she took really good care of me. She gave me a lot of advice and I was able to film comfortably. The more we work together, the better our chemistry gets.”

Moon Chae Won remarked, “When I heard Mina had been cast, I was happy because she fit so well with the image of a cat.” She went on to say that because they had never met or worked together, she wondered what it would be like to act with her as mother and daughter. However, she said that it was actually very comfortable once they started filming.

She added, “Just being in the same space together wasn’t awkward. I think because we appeared as mother and daughter in the beginning, it was a situation where we worked well together. I kept gazing at Mina in a loving, cute way.”

“Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter” is about fairy Sun Ok Nam, who becomes a barista while waiting for her lover the woodcutter to reincarnate. After 669 years, she fatefully meets two men Jung Yi Hyun (played by Yoon Hyun Min) and Kim Geum (played by Seo Ji Hoon).

The drama will air its first episode on November 5, and will be available on Viki!
