KARA ranked No. 28 on the popularity chart in Japan

KARA was ranked high on the popularity chart in Japan.

Their agency, DSP Media said on May 9, “The famous research
company in Japan called Video Research had a survey on “the famous people in Japan”
and measured their popularity. KARA was ranked No 28 on the chart.”

This research was done on the famous people in Japan, and it
included famous stars like Aoi Yu and Nagasawa Masami. KARA was the only
foreign start to be ranked on the chart amongst many Japanese famous people.

This research is also used by marketing company as their
database. KARA is currently working as the models for Hair Dye products, Food
and Drinks, Medicine, and Snacks.

According to DSP Media, the reason that the Japanese
marketing companies like KARA so much is that the 5 members have different
characters and the way they try to speak Japanese perfectly had a good
impression on them.
