IU jokes that Ha Dong Kyun and SPICA's Boa made her life difficult
IU recently appeared onPark Kyung Lim'sMBCradio program and jokingly pinpointed two celebrities who made her life difficult.
One of them was singerHa Dong Kyunwhom IU described as being 'very mischievous'. She explained, "Ha Dong Kyun is someone who watched over me since I was very young. He played a lot of pranks and would say stuff to dampen my spirits like, 'You can't sing,' 'Just focus on studying,' and 'Return to Uijeongbu'."
However, beneath the jokester Ha Dong Kyun was a truly caring soul who became a source of comfort for her. IU continued, "There was a difficult period during my training days due to various, complicated things. My face was gray and my clothes were gray. At that time, Ha Dong Kyun just grabbed me, hugged me, and told me, 'If you're having a hard time, then cry.' Thanks to him, I cried to my heart's content."
IU also mentionedSPICA'sBoaas another singer who made her life more difficult. However, it was nothing Boa did directly unlike the mischievous prankster Ha Dong Kyun. IU elaborated, "Boa and I shared the same training period and she sang so well, enough to make me think, 'What am I going to do?'"
