Girls’ Generation’s Sunny will be appearing on a new survival program

She has been confirmed as one of the mentors and MCs of a new program called “Supermodel 2018 Survival.” The show aims to find and cultivate the best “model-tainers” (model and entertainer) to follow in the footsteps of many famous models-turned-actors or TV personalities such as Lee So Ra, Han Ye Seul, Lee Sung Kyung, and Jin Ki Joo. Contestants will be judged not only for their modeling but also singing, acting, dancing, and other areas, by both judges and viewers.

Seo Jang Hoon will be the main MC, while Jang Yoon Ju and Keem Won Joong will be the modeling mentors. Kim Soo Ro will be the acting mentor, while Sunny will be an “entertainment” mentor who will help contestants in areas like creating their own onscreen personas.

The idol expressed, “I wish to help the contestants show 200 percent of their talents on stage and stand out among many people.” The producers of the program also shared how excited they were for Sunny, as she is “a representative idol who has all-around knowledge of how to act on stage and has a great sense for variety shows.”

“Supermodel 2018 Survival” will air at the beginning of October through SBS Plus.
