EXO’S BAEKHYUN IS RISING FAST ON BILLBOARD CHARTS

Byun Baekhyun is setting impressive chart positions on Billboard’s Social 50 and Emerging Artists charts.

After making his debut on the Social 50 chart last week at 16th place, the vocalist of EXO records his highest position yet this week of August 25. With only two weeks on the chart, he has managed to place second, following fellow K-Pop act, BTS.

As of press time, Baekhyun’s last Twitter activity was dated August 14. However, he managed to get additional followers of about 15k beginning August 19 to August 21, while maintaining the average number of retweets at 139k and likes at 253k despite the lack of Twitter activity.

Moreover, the Social 50 chart of Billboard takes into consideration the weekly additions of followers, fans, or friends on leading social networking sites, as well as the artists’ page views and song plays, measured by Next Big Sound.

On the other hand, his group, EXO, dropped to eighth place from fifth place last week.

Additionally, Baekhyun is the only K-Pop act on the top ten of Billboard’s Emerging Artist chart.

The singer, who also made his debut on the chart last week at 42nd spot, jumped to the tenth spot of the chart this week.

In other news, Baekhyun is set to release a collaboration with Loco on August 31 as part of SM Entertainment’s Station.
