[ASKKPOP] E-Sen's critically acclaimed album 'The Anecdote' wins 'Album of the Year' at 'Korean Music Awards'

The rapper was still in prison when he penned 'The Anecdote,' and remained incarcerated throughout his nominations and wins for 'Album of the Year' and 'Best Rap & Hip Hop Album' at the '2016 Korean Music Awards.' Though many people dissented the rapper being conferred the 'Album of the Year' honor due to his past drug abuse, the rapper's first album successfully went against the grain.

'The Anecdote' was released back in August of 2015 and managed to earn critical acclaim from numerous music critics and hip hop music focused websites such asRhythmerandHiphopLE.
