CNBLUE attracts large crowd of fans at London’s Heathrow airport
CNBLUE‘s arrival in London for their concert, ‘CNBLUE IN LONDON‘, garnered an immense crowd, proving their growing popularity overseas.
The band members, except forJungshinwho will be arriving after his drama shooting, arrived at London Heathrow Airport on September 20th at 6:40PM (BST). CNBLUE was welcomed by 400 fans who came out to catch a glimpse of the handsome members while holding up placards and presents.
Due to the unexpected amount of fans waiting at the airport, it is said that the concert organizers had a difficult time in transporting the boys safely out of the airport.
A representative revealed, “Just an hour before CNBLUE’s arrival, there were only 50 fans but once the band landed, the number quickly increased to 400.” It seems as though the explosion of fans was due to news of the band’s arrival quickly spreading on various social networking sites (SNS).
CNBLUE thanked fans through their agency,FNC Entertainment, stating, “We’re very happy and thankful, but we were honestly very stunned. We didn’t expect to receive such a response like this.”
Their agency also added, “Although it’s their first time entering the European market, we knew there were many fans who had come across the group through YouTube, SNS, and various Korean shows. However, this is more than what we had expected.”
