[ASKKPOP] Bobby featured in December issue of 'GQ' for their 'MEN OF THE YEAR' list
GQ explained that they chose Bobby to be on their list of 'MEN OF THE YEAR' because of the intense impression that he made through his appearances and achievements on 'Show Me the Money,' along with his performances on YG survival programs such as 'WIN' and 'MIX & MATCH.'
During the interview, Bobby revealed his ambitions to grow and develop even more as a rapper as well as his thoughts oniKONand their future. He said, "I think survival shows create an optimized setting to improve your skills. You get bruised and learn about your weaknesses. I did go through a lot of heartache, but in hindsight, I definitely did develop."
He continued humbly, "I won on 'Show Me the Money 3' but I wasn't the best rapper there. I think my performance was strong. I want to be acknowledged by everyone who sees me objectively. I want to keep growing to the skies beyond the peak; I want to go beyond it and go further than the universe."
The rookie rapper then revealed that he just wanted to keep practicing with his fellow iKON members despite his birthday approaching. Bobby said that the iKON members were like his family and expected great things to come for them.
He said, "The iKON members are like my brothers, and the competitiveness that we have towards one other is like the fuel to my fire. I think it's going to be really fun to be iKON with my brothers. Our music will keep on growing."
