[ASKKPOP] BTS' Rap Monster drops teaser image announcing the upcoming release of track 'Awakening' and solo mixtape

BTS' leaderRap Monster's mixtape, which he has been hinting about for quite some time, is finally here! Well, almost that is, only a week away! 

He revealed the news to his awaiting fans with his blog post with the photo you see above, accompanied by the caption 'RM by Rap Monster'.

With half of his face dripping with black paint, the artistic image symbolizes that he is a musician being born again as a rapper.

Rap Monster also wrote the words 'You do You, I do I', possibly meaning that he is going to work on his own music or music that he likes, and it's said to be the theme revolving around his new release.

Ahead of the mixtape 'RM's release on March 17, he'll be dropping the MV for one of the upcoming songs, "Awakening", on March 13.
