It was like I went back to my more innocent days.”
Amy continued, “I learned a lot of things thanks to the prosecutor I met while I was being investigated. It was a hard lesson. I don’t want to change the things I decided in the process. I don’t think anyone should try to resolve bad things with bad things.”

She was declared guilty and sentenced to two years of probation by the jury and 8 months of jail time if she violates her probation. She was also ordered to complete 40 hours of community service as well as 24 hours of drug rehabilitation lectures.
However, netizens were not amused by her declaration. Many were disturbed that she was allowed to appear on television a mere four days after her sentencing when those with lesser crimes had stayed away from the public eye for much longer time periods.
Many criticized her statements, saying, “Lots of people work hard without having to go to jail“, “There is no one who returned so early to TV after substance abuse”, and “Amy, I don’t want to see you on TV yet“.
