Biography
Warren Samuel Mitchell is an independent director, producer, screenwriter, and actor. After graduating from Christian Life Academy in 2008, he started to realize his passion for telling stories in the form of films and began studying in filmmaking. He graduated from LSU twice with two separate Bachelor's degrees. The first time, he graduated in 2014 in the Liberal Arts department with a concentration in Film & Media Arts. The second time, he graduated in 2016 in the Theatre with a concentration in Film/TV. Beginning in 2011, he started putting out short films under his own film production company, Warren World Productions. His first release as director was 2011's The Stalker, a short film he made for a CMST course. To date, he has released 21 short films and a web series. Some of his shorts have been made available for viewing on YouTube, Vimeo, Amazon Prime Video, and the Louisiana Film Channel. A few of his shorts have been made and submitted to festivals and competitions such as the 48 Hour Film Project based in New Orleans, the Single-Take Challenge, and the Four Points Film Project. In 2023, he renamed his film production company to Warren World Films to mark a new era for the company, as he embarks on his first ever feature-length film, Aspire.
