Super Junior’s Japanese Single “Opera” sold more than 160,000 copies
Super Junior’s single album “Opera” is a big hit.
The album “Opera” that Super Junior released in Japan on May
9 was already sold over 160,000 copies within one week since its release.
On May 15, a Japanese Music website, BARKS, said, “Super
Junior’s single album, Opera, sold over 160,000 copies Super Junior’s Japanese
Single “Opera” sold more than 160,000 copies in the first week of its release. This album is doing so
much better than their previous album, Mr. Simple, which sold 89,000 in the
first week of its release.”
BARKS also added, “What is more interesting is that this
record was set without any ad campaigns or promotions in Japan. There are so
many Korean musicians campaigning for and promoting their albums, but Super
Junior rarely does that.”
Super Junior held their solo concert “Super Show 4” in Tokyo
Dome on May 12 and 13, and over 110,000 audiences attended their concerts.
