Lee Si Young shared how it felt to make her drama comeback after becoming a mother.

On July 19, “Risky Romance” held a press conference, with producing-director (PD) Lee Chang Han as well as cast members Ji Hyun Woo, Lee Si Young, Kim Jin Yeop, Yoon Joo Hee, Sun Woo Sun, Bae Seul Gi, and Shin Won Ho in attendance.

Lee Si Young previously announced her pregnancy last July and tied the knot with her non-celebrity husband on September 9. The couple welcomed their first child in January.

The actress laughed and shared, “Before, when filming ended, I felt like I was getting off work and heading home. But now, I feel like I’m going to work when I head home.” On her marriage and raising her first child, she commented, “There are things that are different, but there’s so much more happiness so I’m enjoying it.”

Lee Si Young also talked about keeping up with both work and family life, saying, “There’s a lot of footage that we filmed already. I don’t stay up all night like I used to. I’m taking it easy and balancing both [acting and childcare].” She added, “My family supports me by telling me to work hard, and helps me out at home. I’m filming with a thankful heart.”

“Risky Romance” is about a hormone-obsessed endocrinologist Joo Ah In (played by Lee Si Young) who picks a competitive neurosurgeon Han Seung Joo (played by Ji Hyun Woo) to be her research subject.

The drama will air its first episode on July 23 at 10 p.m. KST.
