EXO advances to the top 10, competing against Justin Bieber, One Direction & more for MTV EMA's 'Worldwide Act'
EXOwas already chosen to represent South Korea at the '2013 MTV EMA' by winning 'Best Korean Act.' However, there is more news to prove their immense global popularity.
They were competing against Japan'sMomoiro Clover Z to represent the region of Japan and Korea for the title of 'Worldwide Act' as only one artist per region could be nominated. However, in the end, EXO made the final Top Ten list of nominees for this title! They will be competing against other popular, international sensations, such asCody Simpson,Justin Bieber, andOne Direction.
Big Bang won this award in 2011, and formerSuper JuniormemberHangeng won the award last year in 2012.
