Biography
As of July, 2022, Blaise is a Producer and the Executive Production Consultant for Republic Records and Federal Films for their new global music competition show titled "A2K", in partnership with JYP Entertainment, which is based in Seoul, South Korea. Reporting directly to the EVP of Republic Records and the SVP, Creative & Production of Republic Records and Federal Films, Blaise oversees A2K's entire domestic and international operations for the development, production, creative, accounting, and post production departments. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, directly overseeing the show's development, overall budget, as well as all pre-production, principal, and post-production operations, in addition to overseeing music and video clearances, supporting marketing strategies, and general legal and insurance protocols. He works closely with JYP's junior and senior executives in Seoul, South Korea, as well as Republic's Business Affairs & Legal team and Republic's finance, accounting, marketing, and creative teams in both Los Angeles and New York. Between early 2019 and July, 2022, Blaise was the Production Manager for the emerging production company The Lucky Bastards, Inc., and was involved in many high-profile music videos such as Tiësto - "The Business", John Legend - "Honey" & "Dope", Lizzo - "Special" & "About Damn Time", Doja Cat - "Streets," Bebe Rexha - "Sacrifice" & "Sabotage," Tory Lanez - "Feels," "Most High," & "Big Tipper," among many others, as well as commercials with clients such as Smirnoff, PlayStation, and Old Spice. After Blaise graduated college in 2016, he quickly entered the industry as a PA on season 2 of Investigation Discovery's "True Nightmares." Blaise has had PA, Key PA, APOC, and Production Coordinator stints at many production companies and studios such as Fox Sports, NBCUniversal, Paramount, Warner Brothers, Focus Features, Food Network, A&E, ABC, Nickelodeon, E! Entertainment ("True Hollywood Story" & "Entertainment Tonight"), Highway Content, Slauson Productions, Intellectual Property Corporation ("IPC"), Entertainment One, Beachbody, Pilgrim Media Group, and CNN, with a majority of his early work and rapid rise up the ladder occurring in Reality and Competition TV. Most notably, he had major stints in shows like the Emmy Award winner "Leah Remini: Scientology & the Aftermath" - which spun off to a show titled "The Movement" - as well as shows such as "Siesta Key," "Lip Sync Battle," "Lip Sync Battle Live," "Lip Sync Battle Shorties," "Kids BBQ Championship," "Food Network Star!," "Let's Make a Deal," "Growing Up Hip Hop," "Love & Hip Hop" Hollywood," "Big Rad Wolf", and CNN Films' "Lessons from the Water: Diving with a Purpose", "58 Hours: The Baby Jessica Story", "The Bunker Boom: Better Safe than Sorry", & "Super Reviewers: Rate, Review, Repeat" documentaries. In addition to his work in Reality TV, Blaise contributed to commercials for Sprint, Polaris, Acura, & Berlei. He has also had production-length Assistant Director work on Indie Features "Samland" & "Know Your Enemy".
