The three-piece set that the two actresses were wearing is composed of a purple silken blouse with red lining ruffles down the buttons, decorated with a carnation around the nape, a black cardigan with red around the hems, and a mid-thigh length skirt with the same red decor seen on the cardigan encircling the waist. Shin Min Ah wore the outfit to an 'Oh My Venus' press conference, and Angelababy to a promotional event for her new movie 'Mojin - The Lost Legend.'

Shin Min Ah had a lot going on with her outfit, what with her blue earrings, golden rings, black keen-high socks, and her shiny, gilded, elaborately designed heels. The actress tied her long hair back into a loose, elegant ponytail, putting an emphasis on her earrings and the designs of her shirt. What draws the most attention, however, are the shoes she is wearing, with its fanciful embellishments and bright color which offset the overall dark theme of Shin Min Ah's getup.

Angelababy played down the ensemble, wearing no accessories that one can clearly see. Her long, wavy hair is worn down, tumbling past her shoulders parted in a way that is flattering for her small face. The actress's shoes are also plain, a pair of classic black heels that match the dark color of the cardigan and skirt. 

This match was easy for me to decide on; hands down, I preferred Angelababy's outfit over Shin Min Ah's. While I adore Shin Min Ah and think she is beautiful, there was just way too much going on with her outfit. Just...way too much to handle. Her attempt to make a statement with the outfit and turn it edgy just turned out to be a total disaster. The outfit is decorative enough as it is; it didn't need those socks, and it certainly could have done without those hideous shoes. Simple black heels the likes of which Angelababy wore would have worked perfectly fine. It seems Angelababy--or her stylist--knew that the outfit spoke for itself.
