What does ‘practicing’ mean to Choa of AOA?

AOA announced a new single ‘miniskirt', followed by 'bobbed hair'. The girls look even more vibrant with their new sensual look.

Dyed blond hair can make you look naughty. But for me it’s not the case. However, if I got my hair black it makes me look fierce and vicious, even. I do want to have longer hair next time just for a change… you know.

I often wear leather jacket. I like the ‘chic’ style even though I am rather petite. As a matter of fact, I don’t usually take selfies because I look awkward. In fact, I think I am a bit shy. So, before getting on the stage I keep on practice the thing I am supposed to do. So, I only show the routine that I am used to by practicing to the audience. Some of the members who are even younger than me seem to enjoy the performance on stage, but I still get a little edgy at times. The choreography for ‘Bobbed hair’ is more difficult than that for ‘Miniskirt’ even though it doesn’t look that way. The routine is simple but you have to keep the muscle strained tightening up the hip and chest. Singing live is almost impossible with these body moves. But for this album, I will try hard for best live music performance. I didn’t really like my thin, clear voice. I practice singing with husky voice. But I need to work on it more. I do wish to have more soulful voice like Mary J. Blige. My role model is Eum Jung Hwa. She really does put on a breathtaking performance on stage.

I don’t pray to be the best singer. I just hope that I keep going and never be frustrated on the way. Even if I don’t achieve some of the goals I set for the life, I will be happy doing what I love to do.
