What do Hyorin and Woori's parents have to say about their daughter's looks?

What doHyorinandWoorihave in common?

Well, at first glance, not much - Woori is the main dancer and main rapper ofRainbow, and was previously anSM Entertainmenttrainee. Hyorin is the main singer ofSISTAR, and had previously auditioned forJYP Entertainment. Other than that they're idol stars of girl groups, the girls probably didn't realize they shared something else in common until their appearance on this week's 'Hello'.

A participant on 'Hello' revealed that her concern was actually about her mom, who always introduced her as a 'goddess' to everyone she met, describing her to be 'nextKim Tae Hee', and also throwing out comments like, "My daughter is so pretty, when she gets to college, she's going to get an all-kill (capture the hearts of every man on campus)."The daughter complained that because of her mom's overly exaggerated praise for her beauty, many would actually smirk or the mood would become awkward when they met her in person.

When asked if they could relate to the daughter's concern, Hyorin and Woori, to the surprise of the MCs and the audience, revealed that they couldn't.

Hyorin mentioned that she had the opposite problem -"My parents never tell me I'm pretty. They even give me advice like, 'oh don't do that, you don't look good when you do that, do it this way instead.' They always stress what I have going for me is individuality and a unique charm, not so much of a pretty face."

Woori knew exactly what Hyorin was saying because she also experienced a similar situation with a comment from her mom just the other day. The Rainbow rapper chopped off her long hair for their comeback, and revealed that her mother had sincerely worried for her. To the laughs of the audience, she lamented, "I cut my hair just yesterday, but when I showed my mom, the first thing she said was, 'Oh no, why did you do that? You only look good with nice hair."

So who has a bigger problem here? Hyorin and Woori, or the participant?
