Tenor Lim Hyung-joo hosts celebratory concert

TenorLim Hyung-joowill host the "Finally & New Start" concert on November 26, the government's officially-declared "culture day" for the month, at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Seoul.

His fifth album,"Finally", was launched in December 2013, his first in eight years. It drew huge amounts of attention, topping both the classical album sales charts and the total sales charts, proving the singer's 17-year long popularity.

This concert is a celebration of the songs on"Finally", which will be re-released through Universal Music this November.

Along with his signature songs, including "Hawolga", "Want You To Be Happy" and "A Thousand Winds", the classical crossover singer plans to introduce the audience to the world of "popera", showcasing a variety of music: classical opera arias, old pop songs, pieces from musicals and jazz tunes. His crossover singing skills can span generations and genres and is much appreciated by his fans.

He will be joined on stage by the National Symphony Orchestra of Korea and the musical troupe Big Band, and a gigantic state-of-the-art 3-D screen will be installed for the audience's enjoyment. Costumes by designer Vivienne Westwood will also be on display.
