Tao discusses his departure from EXO, criticism against Kris, lawsuit with SM, and more in interview

FormerEXOmemberTao (currently active asZ.Tao) recently held an interview withHunanTV's program 'People In News,' during which he discussed his departure from EXO, his criticism againstKris, and more. The interview has now caught the attention of Korean media. 

Tao once again opened up about his leave of EXO. He explained, "On the first day of my leg injury, I got a call from my father. He wanted me to return to China as soon as possible. At the time, I refused to go back, and I even fought with my father over it."

When inquired about where he was and what exactly happened, Tao remained mysterious, replying with a pithy "I can't answer that. I will say it once I win the lawsuit [againstSM],"and declared, "I'm actually anticipating [the results]. I think I will win." 

Regarding his past verbal attack on Kris via social media, Tao said, "I'm an honest person. If I'm down, I'm down, and if I'm happy, I'm happy. I don't think I have to hide anything. I wish to be myself. If I have something to say, I say it. It's because it's my life. I try to enjoy it and spend my days happily. All I have to do is realize my goals." 

"After my return to China, I had a hard time coping from all the negative articles. But as someone who has more than other people, it's only right that I endure through it. I feel as if tens of thousands of arrows are piercing my heart. I have quickly become stronger so that nothing will pierce my heart." 

On Kris andLuhan's leave from EXO, Tao simply said, "I can't judge what others do. They probably had their own reasons that can't all be exposed. I feel extremely frustrated because I can't say anything right now. But I will definitely reveal it later. I'm remaining silent until the time is right." 

Lastly, Tao relayed on the kind of artist he would like to be recognized as in the future. He said, "I want people to say that Tao's music is really cool. Wherever it is, whether it's Japan, Singapore, Thailand, or America, I want them to listen to Chinese music."
