TWICE break their own record for best first-day sales in Japan by a K-Pop girl group with 'Candy Pop'

TWICEis once again making new records in Japan!


According toJYP Entertainmenton February 8, TWICE's latest Japanese single "Candy Pop" recorded 117,486 copies sold on the first day of release.This is greater than the first-day sales of TWICE's Japanese debut album '#TWICE', and their first single "One More Time", which respectively sold 46,871 and 94,759 copies on the first day of release.


This also means that TWICE has broken their own record for the best first-day sales in Japan for a K-Pop girl group.Furthermore, "Candy Pop" has placed #1 on Oricon's Daily Album chart.
