[ASKKPOP] 'Music Bank', 'EXO 90:2014', & more Friday/Weekend programs canceled or facing time changes due to the 'Incheon Asian Games'

The opening ceremony of the '17th Asian Games Incheon 2014' ('2014 Incheon Asian Games') will take place today (19th) which means some of your favorite programs will either face changes in time or be canceled for this week.



All 3 major broadcast channelsKBS,MBC, andSBSwill air a special on the '17th Asian Games Incheon 2014' today (19th) starting at 5:30 PM KST followed by the live broadcast of the opening ceremony starting at 6:30 PM KST which will air until 10 PM KST or later.


Thus, the September 19th broadcast of KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank', KBS 2TV daily drama 'Two Mothers' (aka 'Cuckoo's Nest'), weekly drama 'High School: Love On', MBC daily drama 'Tell Me Your Wish', and SBS' 'Curious Story Y' have been canceled.SBS' 'Laws of the Jungle' will air, but 30 minutes later than usual.


Mnet's 'EXO 90:2014' will also not air today. But next week, it will begin airing at a new time slot next Friday at 8 PM KST, which is 2 hours earlier than their previous time slot at 10 PM KST.


The coverage of the games and specials related to it will be going on during the weekend as well, which means some of the weekend programs may be canceled as well.


As of right now, September 21st broadcast of MBC's  'Dad, Where Are You Going?' is said to be canceled due to a swimming match. However, the following 'Sunday Night' program, 'Real Men', will air. KBS' 'Happy Sunday' which includes '1N2D' and 'Superman is Back' will not see any changes to its time and will air normally. The Sunday broadcast of SBS' 'Eco Village' will be canceled, but 'Inkigayo' will air earlier than usual followed by 'Roommate' and 'Running Man'. However, these are subject to change.
