According to Nielsen Korea, the drama brought in ratings of 1.516 percent nationwide in paid households during its premiere on May 9. A decently average start for a cable channel drama, the premiere showcased Lee Yoo Chan and Kim Bo Ra’s distinct personalities, successfully portrayed by EXO’s Suho and Ha Yeon Soo.

As a flourishing businessman in his 20s who raised his company up from the ground, Lee Yoo Chan demonstrated how unfeeling he could be when he dismissed employees who are lacking without a second thought. Kim Bo Ra was relatable to many as she faced the bitter reality of being unemployed despite her skills and passion.

A highlight of the premiere was when these two characters met as dogmatic CEO and aspiring employee and butt heads. The two actors earned praise from viewers, and further raised expectations for how their chemistry will play out during the rest of the drama. Many viewers are also looking forward to seeing how much the drama will rise from its beginning ratings.
