Lee Je Hoon's Comeback Project 'Detective Hong Gil Dong'

Actor LEE Je Hoon has decided on his comeback project after he finished serving the military which is mandatory in Korea. He selected the film ‘Detective Hong Gil Dong’, a detective genre based on the story of a popular korean folktale. In this Hybrid film, the character, Hong Gil Dong, will be portrayed in different perspective.

He picked ‘Detective Hong Gil Dong’ as his comeback project since he was fascinated with this unique hybrid genre and the plot of Hong Gil Dong being the detective. He told he is very excited to work with the Director Jo Sung Hee, known for directing blockbuster hit “A Werewolf Boy“. 

JO Sung Hee told that he is also happy to work with LEE Je Hoon. The director said LEE Je Hoon is a great actor who can penetrate the sophisticated, susceptive but subtle feelings which is perfect quality to act the role.

After series of critically acclaimed movies like “Bleak Night” and ”Architecture 101“, Lee Je Hoon enlisted for his military service in October of 2010, serving his time at the police department. 

Lee Je Hoon’s awaited comeback film “Detective Hong Gil Dong” will begin shooting in November. The release date has yet to be set.
