Lee Bo-yeong's big donation revealed

ActressLee Bo-yeongdonated 100 million won (about $90,800) to pediatric cancer patients late last month.

The expectant mother wanted to keep her donation secret from the public, but an industry insider spilled the beans about the good deed to an online news agency on Thursday.

"It is true. She donated money for pediatric cancer patients", said an official from her agency, Will Entertainment. "She was interested in child patients and her pregnancy influenced her donation, too".

It is not Lee's first time getting involved in charity.

The actress has been promoting Unicef since 2008. In 2013, she donated 10 million won to children living in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

She also participated in recording audio books for the visually impaired in 2012.

Lee married actor Ji Sung in September 2013 after dating him for seven years. Her due date is around July.
