[ASKKPOP] JYPE's new boy group prepare for debut as 'DAY6' after adding one more member

Is this finally happening?JYP Entertainmentis finally giving us some updates on their upcoming boy group!DAY6(formerly known as5Live) are preparing for their official debut with six members!


JYP Entertainment toldTVDaily, "6 member boy group DAY6 are preparing for their debut. The details on their debut have not been decided yet."

According to JYPE, the confirmed members include former 'K-Pop Star' contestantPark Jaehyung,Kang Younghyun, who featured inBaek Ah Yeon's song "Shouldn't Have", as well asKim Wonpil,Park Sungjin,Im JoonhyukandYoon Doyoon. You'll recognize most of them from that 'WIN' episode where the YG trainees competed with JYP trainees!


Fans had previously predicted DAY6 would debut soon a few days ago when the boy band was revealed to be performing at an event called 'Live Club Day'.


Regarding that, JYPE simply stated, "It's so they can build their stage experience." If you want to see DAY6 perform, the club event will take place on July 31 at Hongdae, Soul!

But JYPE's upcoming girl groupTWICEis set to debut this year too. Fans might be wondering which of the two groups will debut first.JYPE stated, "It hasn't been decided whether DAY6 or TWICE will debut first."
