5 Things we are excited to see in the Are You Human Too? finale
On Tuesday, Are You Human Too? comes to a surprising end with twists and turns we never saw coming. From Nam Shin 3's inception to his complex relationships with humans, viewers have witnessed the robot's mind-blowing evolution every step of the way. We were even anxious for his human counterpart to miraculously come out of the coma. A few supporting characters have added even more depth to the sci-fi series, and there are at least five things everyone is excited to see next week.
1. Forgiveness
After 20 long years, we are dying to see Nam Shin (actor Seo Kang Joon) finally forgive his mother (actress Kim Sung Ryung) for abandoning him as a child. She was banned from seeing him and was probably in more pain than he was. Creating his identical robot twin is more than enough reason to be a little more lenient with her. She even arranged for her son to be nursed back to health while having the robot secure his place in the company.
2. Justice
Seo Jong Gil (actor Yoo Oh Seong) has been doing dirty deeds for ages to climb up the corporate ladder! Rather than be happy with his high ranking position at PK Group, he's greedy for complete ownership. We need to see him pay for sins of murder, attempted murder and any other skeletons he's been hiding in his closet. If they don't catch him soon, he'll never stop.
3. Freedom
Ji Young Hoon (actor Lee Joon Hyuk) seems to be enslaved by the PK Group. Because of the elder CEO helping him out as an orphan, Young Joon dedicated his life to being Nam Shin's shadow. He's been his right-hand man for so long. Young Joon never had the freedom to choose the type of career he wanted to pursue. It's best for the PK Group to let him go free and discover his true passion in life.
4. Brotherhood
By now, we know that Nam Shim hates Nam Shin 3. He detests that his mother created him and that he seemed to earn her love. In actuality, the robot has no desire to take his place. Nam Shin 3 was created to help people with no strings attached. If his human counterpart realizes the true motives behind his actions, both Nam Shins could finally illustrate the brotherhood we have been anticipating for quite some time.
5. Happily Ever After
Kang So Bong (actress Gong Seung Yeon) and Nam Shin 3 has to be the most unlikely couple. Because he isn't human, the odds of them having a future in the real world is nonexistent. Thankfully, this is a Kdrama where dreams come true! Being attached to a humanlike robot shouldn't be much different than our devotion to our tablets and smartphones. Our Kdrama pair has been through thick and thin together! Their first hug, Nam Shin 3 rescuing her from being kidnapped, So Bong removing his battery to protect him from destruction and so much more! These two have protected and cherished each other for so long that they deserve a happy ending.
